My practice is centered within the Everyday and largely depends on the encounters and observations that I actively seek within my daily life. It is said that there is no either-or position in the study of the everyday, for to adopt such a stance would miss the complex, contradictory overlapping of alienation and creativity at its heart.
The everyday as a topic blurs disciplines such as philosophy, anthropology and sociology and is a playground that considers qualities of ambiguity and indeterminacy as ends in their own right. More than finding answers, for me it is about finding an interesting relation between the act, the object and the image which tends to take the form of a sculptural still life.
